Rescue - Water Safety Day

RVWN will be supporting the water safety awareness day at Rother Valley Country Park for
drowning prevention week. There are a number of free activities for children to take part in
including meeting the dogs and being towed to shore by a Newfoundland in a boat,
throwline practice, learning how to float to survive, first aid, paddleboarding, 999 with the
police/fire service & much more! To sign up please click the link below as all registrations need

We will also be holding two water rescue demonstrations in the afternoon to showcase
the natural lifesaving abilities of Newfoundland dogs. Come meet the dogs and
watch them in action!
